Ballet Arts Studio in Beacon offers classes in classical ballet, modern, jazz, tap, theater dance, contemporary, hip hop, and West African dance for children ages 3 and up, with an emphasis on technical training and artistic development in a conservatory-based setting.

Preparation for Ballet starts at age 3; younger children should be at least 3 years old on the first day of class.
Most non-ballet classes (modern, jazz, theater, tap) require students to be at least 7 years old and to take at least one ballet class per week.
The studio has two fully sprung-floor studios plus dressing rooms; Spring Concert performances are held at the Bardavon Opera House in Poughkeepsie.
Pointe work requires a minimum of three ballet classes per week and an individual assessment by the Artistic Director.
