Zoo with train ride and carousel
Bergen County Zoo in Paramus has over 130 animals from around the world in a 20-acre park setting. Kids can see animals outdoors, ride the train and carousel, and visit the gift shop.
Outdoor · Ages 3-14 have reduced admission; under 3 free
Train and carousel run 10am-5pm daily with separate tickets; they stay open later than the zoo grounds.
Winter hours (Nov-March) close earlier and admission is discounted because many animals aren't on public display.
Last entry to the zoo is 30 minutes before closing time.
Membership pays for itself quickly if you visit multiple times per year and includes guest passes.
