Five golf courses with junior lessons
Bethpage State Park in Farmingdale offers five championship golf courses ranging from beginner-friendly to world-class difficulty, including the Black Course that hosted the U.S. Open and will host the 2025 Ryder Cup. The pro shop arranges private instruction, group lessons, and junior golf camps.

Blue and Yellow courses offer 9-hole play for the first 90 minutes each day, and afternoons after 1 pm (Fri-Mon) or 10 am (Tue-Thu), making shorter rounds accessible for younger golfers.
Golf carts available year-round on Red, Blue, Green, and Yellow courses; last rental approximately one hour before sunset.
Refreshment stands on the courses open at various times; The Heritage Club restaurant offers breakfast and lunch service with seasonal hours.
