Sleepaway and day camp, ages 5-17
Hands In 4 Youth, home to Camp Vacamas in West Milford, runs sleepaway camp, day camp, and afterschool programs for children ages 5-17, with a 100-year history serving underserved youth from the tri-state area.

Sleepaway sessions run 12 or 19 days in summer; bus transportation provided at no extra cost from NYC and selected NJ/NY locations.
Day camp operates 9am-5pm with optional before-care (7am) and after-care (7pm) for additional fees; lunch included.
Waterfront activities led by certified Red Cross instructors and lifeguards; camp is ACA-accredited with onsite medical staff.
Parents can stay connected during sleepaway camp via email messages, care packages, and daily Facebook photo updates.
