Pottery painting and wheel classes
Earth Arts Pottery in Long Beach offers walk-in pottery painting, wheel classes, hand-building workshops, and birthday parties; the studio fires all finished pieces and lets kids take them home.

Walk-ins for pottery painting are welcome Tue–Fri 1pm–7pm and Sat–Sun 1pm–6pm with no reservation needed; all supplies and firing are included.
The Throw Together program (ages 5+) is a one-hour family wheel class on Saturday mornings in Garden City with groups of 4–6.
Young Potters after-school program (ages 5–9) runs 12 weeks on Tuesdays and culminates in a Family Art Show.
Birthday parties include 90 minutes of clay and painting with each guest taking home a fired piece; the studio handles setup and cleanup.
