Rope webs, suspension bridges, sprayground
Eisenhower Park in East Meadow has two large playgrounds with equipment in Dr. Seuss style, plus a sprayground and open fields; Field 4 and Field 2 both feature rope webs, suspension bridges, climbing systems, and separate play sections for different ages, while the park itself is enormous and best explored with a map in hand.
Free · Outdoor · All ages
Field 4 and Field 2 are heavily shaded; Field 2's sprayground is very sunny and exposed to traffic noise from Hempstead Turnpike.
The park is huge; download or check the map before arriving to locate which field you want and find parking accordingly.
Nassau County runs a summer camp 9am-3pm, which can limit playground and sprayground access during those hours.
Both playgrounds have separate sections for different age groups spread across fenced areas with rubber ground.
