Free music lessons, instruments provided
KEYS provides free individual music lessons and group ensembles to Bridgeport students from kindergarten through 12th grade, with instruments provided and performance opportunities included.
Free · Indoor · Active · Rainy-day pick · K–12
One-to-one lessons are offered in-school, after-school, and on Saturdays across 21 Bridgeport schools, so enrollment fits various schedules.
Saturday ensembles bring students together for orchestra, concert band, jazz band and chorus; grades 4–12 can join.
Free four-week summer program runs July through mid-August for ages 8–18, culminating in a performance.
Students keep the instruments provided to them, removing a major barrier to continued practice at home.
