Playgrounds for toddlers and older kids
Meckauer Park in Bethel is a 39-acre town park with two separate playgrounds designed for different ages: a larger one for older kids with slides, monkey bars, rock wall, and tire swings, and a smaller fenced playground for toddlers and ages 3-5 with lower equipment. The park also features a half-mile walking trail around the pond with fitness stations, sports fields and courts, two dog parks, and a pavilion available for rent.

The 0.5-mile walking trail has shaded and sunny spots; note it's not maintained in winter.

Plenty of benches throughout the park let tired kids rest between play sessions.
