Hand-building and wheel pottery classes
Mud Clay Pottery Studio in Montclair offers hand-building clay sessions and pottery wheel classes for kids, teens, and adults, along with themed weekend workshops and summer camps where children create finished pieces they take home.

Hand-building sessions are recommended for ages 7 and up; ages 5-6 may need significant parental help and can lose interest quickly.
Kids can choose how to finish their piece: have staff dip-glaze it (included) or return later to paint it themselves for an additional fee.
Summer camp runs mornings or afternoons Mon-Fri.
All finished pieces take about 5 weeks to fire and be ready for pickup.
