Seven miles of hiking trails and ruins
Muttontown Preserve spans 550 acres of oak-hickory forest, vernal ponds, and wildflower meadows in East Norwich, anchored by three restored Gold Coast estates including the French-Renaissance Chelsea Estate. Seven miles of color-coded trails range from the stroller-friendly 1.9-mile Chelsea Loop to more rugged paths past vine-covered ruins, plus seasonal offerings like Junior Ranger Camps and owl-prowl night walks.
