Ballet, jazz, tap, and hip hop classes
New Canaan Dance Academy offers classes in ballet, jazz, tap, lyrical, contemporary, hip hop, and creative movement for ages 2 through adult, with instructors trained at universities and conservatories.

Classes run September through early June with scheduled breaks for Thanksgiving, winter holidays, winter recess, Easter, and spring break.
Parent observation week in early December and pajama week in mid-January let families see classes and participate.
End-of-year recitals happen at the Palace Theatre in mid-June after dress rehearsals the week before.
