Kayaking and boating on the estuary
Newbridge Road Park in Hempstead offers year-round water access to the South Shore Estuary through an ADA-accessible launch point on the Long Island South Shore Blueway Trail, where families can paddle or launch small boats to explore the bays and estuary.
