Vintage trains and turntable rides
The Oyster Bay Railroad Museum in Oyster Bay operates two locations within walking distance of each other: a restored 1889 railroad station building with interactive exhibits and model trains, plus an outdoor rail yard with vintage locomotives and cars. Visitors can ride on Long Island's only operating turntable and explore exhibits about Theodore Roosevelt, who commuted from this station when he was president.
