Dome theater shows about space and stars
The Robert T. Dixon Planetarium at Riverside City College uses a 24-foot domed theater and Spitz planetary projector to present shows about the solar system, eclipses, and constellations, with programs suited for ages 5 and up.

Shows are recommended for ages 7+; younger children may be scared of the dark or have trouble sitting still.
The planetarium seats only 40 people, so book private shows well ahead, especially for lunch-hour time slots (11am-1pm).
No food or drinks allowed inside; use the lobby to store lunch bags, or eat at the nearby City Grill or vending machines on campus.
If scheduling multiple private shows in one day, one group can play outside on the grassy area while waiting for their time slot.
