Rye Playland is a historic 280-acre amusement park on Long Island Sound in Rye with over 50 rides, including the iconic 1929 Dragon Coaster wooden roller coaster, plus an Olympic-size pool, ice rinks, and a sandy beach.

Fireworks shows run Friday nights at 9:15 PM starting July 1st through early September, with special holiday displays July 3-4.
Public skating at the Playland Ice Casino includes black lights and live DJs; hockey clinics and camps are also available.
Beach access is cheaper than full park admission if you only want sand and water.
