Supervised beach on Long Island Sound
Rye Town Park is a waterfront park in Rye with a supervised beach, swimming area, and recreational grounds along Long Island Sound. The beach operates seasonally with lifeguards, and the park itself stays open dawn to 11pm year-round.

Children under 12 are included with adult admission but must be supervised at the water's edge.
Swimming is only permitted 9am-6pm when lifeguards are on duty; beach access extends to 9:30pm but no swimming after 6pm.
Weekends and Fridays before noon are reserved for permit holders and Town of Rye residents; day visitors have better access on weekday mornings.
Bathrooms are closed for construction; porta-potties are available.
