Portable planetarium visits your school
Stars on the Move is a portable planetarium service that travels to schools, scouts, camps, and other indoor facilities in the Haworth area to deliver live astronomy shows, with topics ranging from the solar system to constellation stories.
Indoor · Active · Rainy-day pick · Ages 2 and up
The inflatable dome fits into most classrooms and comes to your location; setup and teardown are handled by the operator.
Shows are live and interactive, lasting 30-45 minutes, and can be customized to incorporate math, creative writing, literature, geography, or history alongside astronomy.
Each show accommodates approximately 30 people; a teacher or adult must be present during the presentation.
An indoor space at least 20 by 24 feet with 10-foot ceiling height is required; if the dome would touch lights or ceiling fans, they must be turned off.
