The Closter Nature Center in Closter protects 136 acres of forest, wetlands, ponds, and meadows with over three miles of trails open year-round for hiking, birdwatching, and fishing.

Trails and grounds are open dawn to dusk every day of the year, including holidays.
Parking at the Nature Center lot is limited; overflow parking is available along Ruckman Road and at an Irving Avenue lot near the Boy Scout cabin.
The center offers hands-on summer camps, after-school programs, and seasonal family nature days in addition to self-guided trail access.
