Hiking trails through woods and wetlands
The Brookfield Nature Center spans 16 acres in Brookfield with a mix of open fields, upland woods, and wetland habitat along Merwin Brook; trails wind through the property past nesting grounds for bobolinks and other ground-nesting birds.
