Private lessons, piano to voice
Westport School of Music offers classical and jazz private lessons in piano, strings, woodwinds, guitar, voice, and bass for children and adults in Westport. Lessons run on an annual calendar from September through June with consistent one-on-one instruction, and students perform 5-6 times yearly in recitals, chamber concerts, and community performances.

Students perform 5-6 times a year including spring recitals, chamber concerts, and informal peer performances at Kaleidoscopes.
Piano students need a full 88-key weighted keyboard at home before starting lessons; pianos should be tuned twice yearly.
Each full-year student gets two makeup lessons per school year if you notify the school by 10am on the day of a missed lesson.
Summer school runs six weeks (late June through early August) on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays to maintain practice over the break.
