Fishing derby and pond catch-and-release
Zabriskie Pond in Wyckoff is a township park that hosts a popular annual fishing derby for kids, drawing families with children of all ages for catch-and-release angling.
Free · Outdoor · Quiet-friendly
The annual fishing derby typically happens in early June and welcomes young anglers of all skill levels with prizes for three age categories under 16.
This is a catch-and-release fishing event, so kids learn fish handling without keeping their catch.
