Nelson Park in Ossining is a large community space with a recently updated playground featuring multiple play structures, slides, and climbing features, plus basketball courts, a baseball diamond, tennis courts, and a paved oval path suitable for walking, jogging, and biking.

The playground has 3 separate play structures spread across the lower level, so kids of different ages and abilities can find something suitable.
One corner of the paved path has a fairly steep, sharp turn; young riders on bikes and scooters should be supervised carefully there.
The park hosts free community events during summer, including the Bubble Bus performance and other family entertainment on Tuesday nights.
Parking is available in multiple spots: street parking on Washington Ave and Nelson Ave, plus dedicated spots on Edward Street near the playground.
