Historic fire tower and hiking trails
Orenaug Park in Woodbury offers trail hiking with an 80-foot fire tower built in 1911 that rewards the climb with views over the Pomperaug River Valley. Multiple trails of varying difficulty connect to trailheads, including access to Bethel Rock, a historic cliff used as an outdoor chapel by early settlers.
