Riverfront playground with climbing walls
Henry Gourdine Park is a riverfront playground and walking destination in Ossining's Old Village, directly downhill from the train station, with paved paths along the Hudson River, a climbing wall, slides, and swings. The playground requires active supervision of small children, but offers scenic sunset views and easy access to neighboring Louis Engel Waterfront Park.
Free · Outdoor
Small children need constant supervision here; the other playground at Louis Engel Park next door is better if you want more hands-off play.
Parking can be tight with metered and limited free spots; arrive early or use the Louis Engel lot nearby.
The paved river path is stroller-friendly for walking or jogging alongside the Hudson River.
Henry Gourdine hosts occasional family entertainment in summer; check the Ossining Parks calendar for Tuesday evening performances.
